Why so Grumpy? |

Grumpy's Downtown was a haven for Hipster, Emo and Punk alike.
When US Bank Stadium became a certainty for Downtown Minneapolis we were commissioned to do a concept design for a rooftop patio and bar expansion on the OxOp building at Grumpy's Bar and Restaurant.
A collaboration between Greg Freeman, Nicolas Ramirez and Josh Bergeron this conceptual exploration sought to redefine the now defunct Grumpy's location, adding additional and enhanced restrooms, bar, outdoor seating and performance space.
Unfortunatly this project didn't move forward but this project was a fun exploration in playing with the googie style of architecture.
